WELCOME TO ECOLINK

Our Vision
To increase food security, reduce poverty and disease and feelings of hopelessness, promote soil, water and biodiversity conservation, protecting and improving the ecosystem for future generations through integrated rain water harvesting and food security with a focus on social and natural environments and a brighter future for all
We were established in 1985 by the pioneer conservationist, the first woman vet in Africa, Dr Sue Hart – the original ‘Daktari.’
We are a non-profit, non governmental organisation founded on a deep respect for people – and for the natural environment. The theme of environmental education – in its broadest sense runs through all our training projects. Ecolink’s core activities are organic farming with a focus on soil conservation, rain water harvesting and food security for small scale farmer development with a focus on women and youth.
